Morris F. McAdoo

Morris F. McAdoo if a native of Burlington, North Carolina. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina, and worked for two years in Benefits Administration for a Major Big Four Accounting firm before he obtained his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.

Morris began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Forsyth County, often prosecuting cases on behalf of special needs victims. For the past seven years, Morris has dedicated his practice to civil litigation on behalf of seniors and persons with disabilities. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar Association, Elder Law section of North Carolina Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Morris has previously lectured certified legal education courses in the area of Medicaid appeals, guardianship issues, and Administrative Law litigation.

In his community, Morris currently serves on the Privatization and Competition Advisory Board for the City of Charlotte. In addition to participating in various civic organizations, Morris is a founding Board Member of the PSF Foundation, which facilitates the Sugar Creek 21st Century Community Learning Center in North Charlotte.
